Storm and Chipotle Habanero Chili

It has been pretty cold here the last few days. Our high is 45! My kids still love being outside although I am pretty much the wimpy mom saying it's too cold. If I do go outside I will have a huge jacket on looking like the kid from A Christmas Story! I do love coming in to a nice warm meal, though. There is nothing better then making a hot pot of chili. I made this one really spicy with chipotle and habanero peppers. If you don't like the spice you can always cut out the peppers. I usually make two pots, one for the kids and one for the adults. This is a nice one pot meal with hardly any clean up. The best part is that leftovers always taste better. We usually serve ours over rice but corn bread would be great too.

Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey
6 cans kidney beans
3 cans black beans
2 packages chili mix
2 cans Chicken broth
1 habanero pepper, seeded
1 jalapeno, seeded
2 tablespoons diced chipotles peppers
Cilantro and Green Onions for Garnish

Brown turkey in pot. I usually cook it through then drain any oil. Add rest of ingredients. Mix well. Let simmer on low for about an hour mixing every once in a while.
