NC Snow 2015

Today was a snow day! That means we are stuck in the house all day due to slippery roads. The weather over here doesn't know what it wants. One day it is 60 degrees, the next day it's 20 degrees. School always gets called out or delayed in February even when it doesn't snow because they don't want the kids waiting in the cold. Other states are probably laughing at us sending their kids in single digit degrees. We aren't equipped to maintenance the roads as this is probably the only day it will snow for the year and it will melt by tomorrow.

The boys always love it. Since we were stuck home all day we took advantage of the snow plus I had to get these boys outside to get some energy out. They always have a fun time playing and making snow balls. I drank 3 cups of coffee and we just relaxed all day. Now I am wired :) Hopefully I will be able to sleep tonight.

White Ice

We got some snow! Well it was more like ice but we made the best out of it. Although we couldn't make a snowman the kids got to sled and play around in the cold. Being from California it sure was cold for me. If any of you didn't know, we moved from California last year and the weather is quite a change. A change I love, though. Being in North Carolina is doesn't really snow. Last year we had no snows so this snow is pretty rare from what I've been told.
